When he's not hanging out at celebrity weddings with the likes of Jay Z and Beyoncé or casket sharp performing at birthday parties for the President of the United States, Anthony Hamilton is exercising his vocal chords across the pond. AHam, along with his soulful background singing collective The Hamiltones, ventured to BBC Radio's 1Xtra Live Lounge recently to perform his breakthrough single "Comin' From Where I'm From," his latest hit "Amen" and "Everybody" from his third studio album Ain't Nobody Worryin'. Decked out in all black, Anthony was equipped to flex his vocals and steal your heart in the process with his Southern twang and signature vocals.
The crooner performed "Comin' From Where I'm From" with passion and swag, harmonizing with The Hamiltones to give an extremely soul-filled performance. He then took us on a trip to the islands with the reggae-tinged "Everybody," where they all swayed to the beat, creating an uplifting moment that's sure to keep a smile on your face. Anthony capped off the visit with his number one single, "Amen," that might take you all the way to church.
AHam and company are currently on tour, jumping across countries to win over old and new fans alike and will even be taking the stage at the North Sea Jazz Festival in Curaçao on September 3rd.
