Diddy To Tell The ‘Bad Boy Story’ In ‘Can’t Stop Won’t Stop’ Documentary

"I don't want the Chrysler that looks like the Phantom. I want the Phantom.” – Diddy

This quote pretty much sums up everything we love about Sean “Diddy” Combs. Authenticity. Luxury. Edge. Drive. Innovation. Evolution. Combs, alongside co-producer Heather Parry and executive producers Michael Rapino, Andre Harrell and Alex Avant, has captured his legacy and the phenomenal story behind Bad Boy Records and packaged it up in a documentary fittingly entitled, Can’t Stop Won’t Stop: A Bad Boy Story.

Directed by Daniel Kaufman, fans will get a never-before-seen look as Diddy and some of the biggest names in the label’s history prepared for the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour in just three weeks in 2016. The groundbreaking tour, which celebrated the 20th anniversary of arguably one of most influential movements in music, fashion and culture, included a stellar lineup of artists such as Faith Evans, The LOX, Lil Kim, Mase, 112, Carl Thomas and Total. The Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop doc includes an exclusive glimpse at the mix of personalities and relentless passion behind the Bad Boy dynasty, goes back to the label’s beginning in the heart of New York City and follows its journey to become the massive empire we all know it to be today. No Bad Boy chronicle would be complete without touching on the tragic and still unsolved murder of The Notorious B.I.G., perhaps the most pivotal moment in the history of both the label and in hip-hop. Still, like the mogul and mastermind behind it all, the film keeps the party going as it ends with the historic concert Bad Boy Family Reunion concert at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn before a sold-out crowd. Love him or hate him, after 20 years the magic that only Diddy can create both on- and off-stage is undeniable.

Live Nation Productions will release the feature documentary Can't Stop Won't Stop: A Bad Boy Story exclusively on Apple Music on June 25th. The first trailer premiered during the Billboard Music Awards on May 21st, on what would have been Biggie’s 45th birthday. For those who missed it, watch it right here..
