California-based duo Lafa Taylor and Aabo join musical forces to deliver their infectious latest single "Falling." The soulful track borrows house elements, a dash techno, a splash of hip-hop and a sprinkle of R&B to make it an easy breezy, club-ready listen. Taken from their forthcoming debut album FEEL, it made sense to include the smooth vocals of Bay Area songstress Goapele to seal the deal and deliver something that's sure to be in heavy rotation as the weather warms.
The minute you press play on "Falling," your body starts to move to the infectious beat, ripples of instrumentals and Lafa singing about being unable to stay away from the one he's falling for on the first verse. "Every now and then, something takes my breath away," Goapele purrs on the second verse, adding a sexy feminine vibe to the song. The collaboration is a three-minute long, soul clap and body roll-worthy banger that will have you hitting repeat.
Goapele made sure she had time to get in on the track since she just released her newest song "Power" to gear up for the release of her upcoming Dreamseeker EP. Both camps are gearing up for new releases in the coming months. "Falling" serves as the third single from Lafa and Aabo's LP FEEL, which drops this summer.
