Kameron Corvet Breaks It Down On ‘Wish I Could’

Sometimes in life, you find yourself caught between what you WANT to do and what you SHOULD do. On his latest single, “Wish I Could,” singer/songwriter and guitar slayer Kameron Corvet finds himself at this very place. The track poetically captures the emotional roller coaster that comes with recognizing that one isn’t quite able to love someone the way they want to be loved. Killa Kam is remorseful, but honest, as he proclaims, “I don’t want you gone, but that’s where you belong.” His voice, effortlessly floating in and out of falsetto, captures the pain of being caught between relational rocks and hard places. Listeners are sure to reach for a glass of wine, or something to take the edge off, as he serves poignant truth with lyrics like, “What you don't know might very well hurt you / Messing with me can make you feel like it's really worth it.”

His latest offering comes just in time, as his last single “Leave It Like That” was released almost a year ago. According to Corvet, "Wish I Could" is the first release of many to come over the next few months.  He is hopeful that this song, written by himself and produced by Pierre-Medor (who has worked with Brandy, Tinashe, Usher and Mary J. Blige), will “open up the dialogue about people's emotional expectations and realizing that if a person can truly feel the love from the other, that type of love is still love nevertheless.”

Feel the love when you listen to "Wish I Could" right here.
