Teenage phenom Khalid is currently taking the music world by storm with his successful debut album American Teen and his single "Location." While we and the rest of the world can't get enough of "Location," that's not all American Teen has going for it. The set's second single, the two-step worthy "Let's Go," is pretty fun and it gets even more fun with the addition of D.C. native GoldLink for the song's official remix.
Just like his "Location" remix, which featured Kehlani and Lil Wayne, GoldLink's addition adds a bit of flair. He opens the track by rapping over the piano chord intro with one of his playful verses hollering at a lady that has caught his eye. As usual, he's nimble with his words, delivering his characteristically sing-song flow. His verse fits perfectly on the song, leading seamlessly into Khalid's laid-back delivery as he attempts to coax a honey to go his way. We must admit if we were a few years younger, we'd be tempted ride off with him in his blacked out Chevrolet.
With "Let's Go" having been released last September, this remix should breathe some new life into the song and spark even more interest in what Khalid has to offer.
