Soul singer Leela James gives fans another taste of her new album Did It For Love, before it drops this coming Friday (March 31).
Keeping with the old-school inspiration and vibe, the songstress brings the fire right to her lover, requesting him to show her love on the head bobbing “Don’t Mean A Thang.”
Words and sweet nothings don’t prove your love to Leela, as she sings: “Don’t make no promises to me / That won’t get my love / You can’t just tell me anything / Although I love it when we’re kissin’ and huggin’ / And you tell me those sweet nothings / Those things don’t mean, don’t mean a thing / You gotta show your love.”
