Organized Noize Encourages Us To Take A Stand In ‘We The Ones’

At the beginning of the month, Atlanta-based crew Organized Noize surprised us with their self-titled seven-track EP. Not only did the collective deliver a dope EP full of cuts featuring some of our faves, but they also took the time and care to put a message behind their music on tracks like "We The Ones." Speaking of which, the collective recently shot a video for the posse cut that perfectly illustrates the political and civil unrest currently being felt in the United States.

The crew, consisting of Rico Wade, Ray Murray and Sleepy Brown, tapped into the spirit of protest on the song, encouraging the people to stand up for what's right. They do the same for the video, showing images of protest and unrest in the streets of America. It focuses on both the resistance against the crooked, corrupt ways of #45 as well as the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Interspersed between the images, the three-man crew poses with serious stares. The song's guests — Big Boi, CeeLo Green and Big Rube — don't appear in the clip, but their presence is felt through their powerful lyrics, underscoring the moving images of protesters and everyday citizens who are becoming the new face of the American will.

Get inspired to take a stand when you check out the video for "We The Ones" below. The Organized Noize EP is in stores now.
